Default Music while exercising?

Does anyone else need to have music playing while exercising? It can really help make the time go faster. I have an ipod so I can chose the songs I want to listen to. Instead of thinking of a 30 minute workout, I can just pick 6 or 8 songs (depending on the length of each song). Then when the music is done, so is my workout!

Oh yeah definitely. I find it easier for me to "pass the time" exercising if I'm listening to music. Also, it motivates me if it's something fast paced or energetic - then I feel more upbeat and exercise for even longer than planned!

Yes, I push myself too hard sometimes..

I like listening to the Fratellis or Franz Ferdinand when exercising, fairly fast tunes, but not so fats that i'm gonna have an heart attack!
