Default Milk Shake

İ find a great way to get some calcium into your body in a very pleasant way is to have a milk shake, forget the package and artificial stuff, fresh fruit in season and fresh milk is just as cheap and much better.

Your main investment is a blender.

1. Fruit of your choice (İ like Bananas, but strawberries are coming into season
2. Add equal amount of milk.
3. Add about 3 or 4 icecubes.
4. blend until the ice cube are nice small crystals, and the milk is frothy.

Enjoy

I would love that milk shake, but I don't tolerate whey that well, so my source of calcium is cheese. Years ago I read that people who do not tolerate milk, but do tolerate cheese do not have lactose intolerance, but an intolerance to whey.

Therefore, my breakfast every morning is cheese bread. I put cheese on 15 gran Pepperidge Hill Farms bread, and it gets me off to a good start, and helps me last through the morning hours until lunch. Since I teach school, I cannot stop mid morning and have a snack.

Every year when I have a blood test I expect my numbers to be high in cholesterol, but they are not, except in the good cholesterol.

I don't recommend this to anyone who does not get regular blood tests.
